It’s no secret that, as a nation, we’re less active than we’ve ever been. It’s so easy to jump in the car or hop on a bus to get to work, school or the shops - but not very good for our health and it’s beginning to show. Getting active in Middlesbrough has never been easier and we’ve got everything from incentivised bike schemes and cycle training through to new maps and journey planners. There’ll also be an exciting cycling festival next Summer.
